Any kind of breadmaker. Everyone has one, almost no one uses them. Ain’t no one got time for that.

I don’t like expensive champagne. Give me a cheap bottle of prosecco any day.

LGenz:  Better than Sex was the worst mascara! I was so disappointed.

I asked for/recieved an expensive Breville Juicer 3 years ago. Its so tedious and annoying to clean the veg pulp out. Havn’t used it in about 2 years.

Dry shampoo. It’s basically aerosoled powder so I just use baby powder nowadays.

An at home weather station.

Expensive booze such as wine, champagne, cognac, and whiskey. No Dom for me thanks.

Proactiv. Did nothing for my skin and made my acne worse…I currently use off brand Equate grapefruit scrub and my skin is clear for the first time in over a decade.

Expensive lipsticks – I love lipstick and while I havent hated any higher end brands I’ve tried, NYX is still my favorite brand.

most hair care lines, including Living Proof (of which I own the entire line, because even if my hair is a frizzy mess on it, it’s a less frizzier mess), Wen Cleansing Conditioner, and the INCREDIBLY hyped up Purely Perfect Cleansing Cream.  MEH MEH MEH.

(So far only VERB ghost oil and Fekkai conditioner have left me impressed.. but I’ll add that I only used a sample size Fekkai and sometimes my hair will behave for a new product for the first few days so the jury’s still out on that one.  When I finish my Living Proof conditioner I’ll switch to Fekkai to see how that goes).

The incredibly expensive ($70 per stick!) and SO hyped up Cle de Peau concealer.. so glad I got it from Nordstrom and just sent it RIGHT back.  It wasn’t BAD.. it just wasn’t much better than anything else I’ve used.

I’m not a huge fan of the beautyblender.  It works fine.. but so do my fingers.  It might help my foundation is really expensive–maybe a cheaper product would really show the difference.

WesterosBarbie:  I did change my profile info a couple of times! That’s what I was so frustrated about! I unselected lip products after I got a few I didn’t like and literally every month after that I still got a lip product, I tried to change my style profiles to get more natural looking stuff… no, still everything I recieved was a funky color I would never wear. I just got frustrated and it felt like such a waste of money. And like I said, I could tell all the stuff I was getting was low-quality junk. I ended up giving like half of the stuff away to friends who would use it. The only things I did like getting were the brushed and some lotions/face masks. I was really disappointed because I was SO EXCITED about initially subscribing.

gingerkitten:  I used to have a vitamix pro that lasted for YEARS and it was fantastic for wet and dry items and smoothies. It could grind kale stems into juice, and vegetables into soup. Honestly, even though it is amazing, we chose to most recently get a ninja because it’s almost as good as vitamix a fraction of the price. It’s not as powerful, but gets the job done. I’ve never tried magic bullet, I hope this helps!

1. FitBit. I was obsessed with it the first few months. Then I started getting mad at it when it would miss some steps. Yelling at a rubber band “You’re missing it, I AM EXERCISING!” Great moment for me. Then I realized I really did not like the look of it, but choosing not to wear it would mean my steps wouldn’t count! That little bracelet does some psychological tricks on you.

2. All expensive mascaras. My $2.99 drugstore workhorse has them all beat.

3. Chemex coffee pot. It looks much better than Mr. Coffee when it’s sitting on my counter, but Mr. Coffee still reigns supreme.

My Keurig. I don’t know why I ever thought I’d only want one cup of coffee at a time.

Agree with PPs re: expensive mascara

Also I bought La Prairie skincare at the airport once. I forgot all my cosmetics and thought why not invest? It was awful. The worst
