Also on team short and short torso so low rise jeans were the only ones that have ever fit me correctly. I bought 4 different pairs or pants and they all came up to my bra and that is with buying short length.
I’ve been binge watching one tree hill and I miss the fashion of the early 2000s. Lol.

cmsgirl : I loved my hypercolor shirt lol.
As for boot cut, jeans I have been wearing those for feaking years. They never were in or out. I hate skinny jeans.
I hope doesn’t come back is the true 80’s or early 90’s looks. Shutters, I lived through those once and that was enough

Again I’m the minority. I am short and carry my weight in my belly. Bootcut or low rise jeans are more flattering and more comfortable for me than the skinny jeans or leg coffins as I call them. I have well developed calves so they always get bunched up and I have to push them down. Plus they sit right at the largest part of my stomach so finding a good fit is nearly impossible. I also think skinny jeans look super dumb on most people. Like a sausage being squeezed out the top of its casing. How is that flattering?
I’m not taking ultra low rise, just hip hugger style. Why can’t there be all styles available all the time? People can just pick what works for them.

I’m another one who wasn’t built for skinny jeans. I went Jean shopping last year and that’s all there were. So, I started wearing leggings instead of jeans and I’ve never taken them off. I’ve noticed high waisted pants seem to be coming back and I’m unsure why. They look super uncomfortable.

babygrandmabee : funny thing is, I also have a very short torso but a huge butt so low-rise is my worst nightmare because of the constant fear of my ass crack making a public appearance when it best sees fit—which is apparently always lmao
i do agree though that they should have all styles available at all times, but unfortunately that’s rarely the case :/ so for me it’s TEAM HIGH-WAISTED OR BUST 😂😂😂
also, I do oftentimes end up tucking my bralettes (best invention ever for those with no boobs) into my pants. it works for me lol

Bootcut and flares are replacing skinny as the trend piece but straight look best on me and I’m old enough not to care.
Crimped hair should never be acceptable.
Shell suits for any UK bees. I was so excited to get my first one. The photos are well hidden.

happiekrappie : i have the exact same problem! My big butt was too much for low rise. Felt like my crack was always out and i always had to check my shirt to make sure it was long enough when sitting. Butt cleavage is not sexy I love the high rise trend. Gimme all the high rise pants. But I will admit that I’ve put on a little weight and they aren’t so flattering if they get too tight lol

Track suits (the ones from the 90’s in bright colors with matching pants & jacket)
Jean jackets (especially when paired with jeans)
Leggings (sorry, not sorry)

God help me, I put shoulder pads in EVERYTHING in the late 80s, including my wedding dress and bathrobe!

I see everyone mentioning skinny jeans and bootcuts, but what about straight-leg jeans? Bootcuts have always looked ridiculous to me; it’s just not a look I can get used to. Additionally, I usually feel like one of thse chickens with the feathers on their feet when trying them on.
Skinny jeans are fine, but I generally feel they’re more similar to leggings than to denim, plus I have athletic calves so they fit fine in the hips and thighs and then are too tight on the bottom.
Straight leg jeans are a happy medium – not trendy and never really out of style.
But what I really want are FULL LENGTH PANTS. I am tired of everything being “ankle” length.
