2015 is our year of getting fit & healthy again!
I’ve lost 10kg since Christmas and plan on losing another 10kg by the time we get married – 20 months from now so I’ll likely get to my target 🙂
I started at 75kg and am now down to 65kg. Goal is around 55kg but I’ll be happy anywhere under 60kg (I’m very short btw)
SO has lost over 15kg as well and is looking fit and fab! Was 100kg and is now 83kg. Curious to see what other bees are doing/planning.
We’ve gone the healthy/lifestyle change way. Less carbs, less sugar – note, I didn’t say NO carbs or sugar. We’ve also set up a mini home gym in our guest bedroom (I LOVE my crosstrainer). We both workout 30 mins a day. On weekends we try to get out, go for walks etc. Everything in moderation 🙂
Just watching what we eat really.

- Wedding: March 2016 - Miami
15 pounds (sorry, silly American over here… that should be around 6.5kg accoding to ol’ Google). I’ve got 8 months… that sounds “easy” but ugh I’ve been trying to lose those 15 forever. And I’ve got the holidays a few months before my wedding. I’m going to have to be very good this year!

My wedding is 6 months away and I’m hoping to lose 10kg by then! Likely attainable for me as long as I don’t slack off. I’ve also been doing the very low carb and sugar, high protein and veg thing. Going well and have been losing slowly, but not terribly overweight either. My goal is to be about 65kg which is about a size 10 aus on me and a comfortable size. Fiance has always eaten much better than I do, he doesn’t give into temptation but is trying to support me and helping us to both be more active. I’m also working out 30 minutes a day, a combination of treadmill and weights/resistance. Good luck with your goals! Sounds like you are doing great!

Yeah I’m happy with how we’re tracking. I’ll post a ‘before’ and after pic… The first pic was taken in around March… I’ve been even bigger =_= And the 2nd pic is me last week 🙂

Congrats on improving your health!
This is timely as I am starting PT sessions at 6am Mon and Wed and my first session is this Wed! I am so not a morning person but I am heavier than ever so desperate times call for desperate measures!
Our wedding is April ’16 but my goal is to have lost 10kgs by December when we have a holiday planned. That’s 22 pounds. I knew I had let my wellness go since my Mum passed 18 months ago but it wasn’t until I weighed myself at the gym recently that I realised how much. I have just been in one big physical and emotioal rut 🙁
My SO is already slim but I’m writing him a weights program to make sure he’s looking and feeling his best too.
What am I doing? Well my #1 goal is going to be consistent and get back to working out 5+ times a week. I plan to hold myself accountable through these PT sessions, which are resistance and circuit training based. And I will supplement that with high intensity interval training, dance and yoga (which I haven’t kept up either).
Luckily a nutrition plan is included in the PT. For me the key thing is going to be planning and doing meal prep so I am having healthy breakfasts and lunches at work days. Usually that’s enough to keep me on track.
Writing this makes me realise how much I have let slide….

tabbytren: I’ve lost 7kg since Janueary, taking me from 60kg to 53kg. I want to lose one more. I have ages still… March next year. However, I’m trying my wedding dress on the 20th of August and would like to be 52 kg by then.
I’ve been watching what I eat and training for a 100km walk that we did with my Fiance last month. We still walk loads, when we go to London we don’t take the underground, we just walk everywhere, even if it’s 10 km away. It’s a good habit to get into.

- Wedding: October 2015 - Marquee - Private Property
This post is perfect timing for me! We have just over 12 weeks to go and I tried my dress on this weekend and it’s a little small :(.
So my goal is about 2 inches – there’s no point counting weight for me at this point because I’m too close and am focusing on the fitting part haha!
I weigh 62kg and am roughly 170cm tall so I don’t have too much to lose.
I am training with a trainer twice a week and am reducing my carb intake weekly while upping my cardio. 🙂

Health and fitness has been an ongoing project for me but this year I’m ready to achieve my final goals! I weighed close to 230lbs(104kgs) when I was 18 and by the time I was 21 I had lost 90lbs(40kgs) and I’ve held steady at between 140-145lbs(63-65kgs) since then.
Now, almost five years later, I’m ready to lose the last 20lbs(9kgs) and get really fit and totally comfortable in my body. I’m pretty small (not quite 5’3) and I definitely still have a little extra padding going on. I’m definitely overall “healthy” but I’m certainly not as healthy as can be and can strive for excellence! I got into this “I got so far, I did so good, why do I have to keep working at it” lull and I’ve recently decided that I’m only letting myself down with that mentality. I’ve always overcomes more than 80% more than I have left so why should I stop now? It should be a cake walk from here.
Of course it’s not really that easy, but I’m willing to work at it because even though it’s not easy, that doesn’t mean it’s not worth it!
To a year of fitness and health and really puttin our best into ourselves. Because we totally deserve it!! We got this ladies 😀
eta to add: I realized after I posted this that is wedding goals and I got married in June. I guess I still want to share though. And my goals are for our 1 year anniversary and a wedding we’re in the bridal party of next September! I am gonna have some fit arms for whatever the bride may ask me to wear 😉 plus my very best friend is getting married summer 2017 so I have to be geared up and ready for that too!

I’ve lost 18lbs since January just changing what I eat – but as of today I’m starting a 12-week transformation programme. I’ll be with a personal trainer 3/4 times a week and have a nutrition plan. Not only am I hopint to lose another 15lbs but also be able to lift some serious weights! Can’t wait. Our wedding is 9 months away so the plan is to do this over the next 3 months and then maintain/keep going if necessary.

Fun thread! My wedding is in a little over 2 months (yikes!). I started at 245lbs (111kg) in February and I’m down to 205lbs (92kg) right now. My goal is to lose 6 more pounds by October 1 – I would not have weighed 199 since 2002, when I got to college.
I have also been doing the very low carb, no sugar diet, but high fat rather than high protein. I’m starting to do strength training to tone up some for my strapless dress, and get moderate cardio in when I take the dog on long walks a few times a week.

My starting weight was 217, and I’m hoping for 160ish by the wedding! So far, I’m down 20lbs since April, and have just under a year (next july) till the wedding!

I’ve only got 39 days til my wedding and I’m still hoping to drop 10 lbs. I can’t believe its so close to my wedding day!!

I need to lose about 10lb more to be at my goal weight. I have until November to do it! I’ve been chronically sick for months and that’s helped with weight loss, but I need to feel better so I can work out and tone. I don’t feel like my clothes fit any better even though I’ve lost about 13lb already. I got sized for my dress at a larger weight so at least it’ll fit, but I’d love to need to get it altered to fit a smaller shape! I plan on getting shapewear as well since I am thin around the waist but have that leftover baby pouch that will not go away!

- Wedding: July 2016 - The Burgundy Basin
I’ve got 11 1/2 month until my wedding day. Since Jan 1st I’ve been able to lose 17lbs and my goal is to really buckle down and lose 25lbs more. I would love to be in my best health since highschool for my wedding. Yesterday I started 1/2 marathon training and I’m hoping to run one in October! :]
