I’ve got no problem with Belle.  She was right – her hometown did suck.  Nothing wrong with wanting to get out of a shitty place where you don’t fit in.

I never unserstood why I was meant to like a lot of the classic princesses, but I think I found Aurora the most insipid of the bunch.

Belle is among one of my favorites but my absolute favorite is Merida. They are both so independent and smart! I guess my least favorite would have to echo pp and be Aurora. It’s of no fault of her own, I just never got into Sleeping Beauty as a child. Maleficent (live action) was amazinggg but even in that one I prefer Maleficent to Aurora.

I actually like Belle the best. She loves to read and does what she wants, even though she lives in a village of small minded people who think she’s weird. She’s willing to do something brave and stupid for someone she loves – her dad. That had to take a lot of balls. AND, unlike the cardboard cutout princes most Disney princesses are given (Aurora, Cinderella, Ariel), she gets a big fat jerk (Gaston) and sees right through him. And then the real prince – the Beast, who she ultimately loves because she gets to know his heart. And she helps him see the good in himself.

I think she’s badass. I like the message this movie sends with Gaston, too. Pretty on the outside does not mean pretty on the inside. That was a radical concept with a lot of Disney movies I grew up with.

For my least favorite, I have to say Ariel. She’s willing to give up who she is, her family, and everything she’s ever known, for this stupid guy who’s blinded with lust by that fake witch Ursula. The original story was much, much more disturbing and darker, and ended with Ariel’s death. I think that’s clouded my opinion a bit, too. I was very into Hans Christian Anderson as a child, and I read the full text. Those were some dark stories he wrote.

I was never a sleeping beauty fan so I’d have to go with Aurora. I don’t think she got the chance to ever develop much personality since she was asleep for most of her plot lol so that’s probably why.

Jasmine and Snow White were always my least favorites.

I loved Belle when I was a kid and would still say she’s one of my favorites though Merida might be new #1, she’s definitely the most underrated.

I haven’t seen most of the recent Disney movies, but I have the popular opinion that Belle is my favorite.

I also have the popular opinion that Aurora is my least favorite.

I agree with most that belle is my favourite and Aurora is my least favourite. Ariel is a bit stubborn but she is only 16. Plus at least she does spend 3 days with her prince to fall in love whereas Aurora, snow white and Cinderella spend one day. My favorite villian is Ursula though.

Belle is not stuck up at all, Gaston is! I find it strange you think that!

Ariel is probably my least favourite princess although I do like the movie. The movie Cinderella is probably the worst but Cinderella herself is a great person.

I see people’s points about Aurora- there really isn’t much to her character but I always loved the movie Sleeping Beauty and see the story as more about Prince Philip than Aurora anyway. Philip is one of my favourite princes.

Lol Belle is my favorite 🤗 my entire wedding was beauty and the beast themed!

cinderella is my least favourite.  It actually stresses me out the way she’s let’s people treat her.  I get so mad and shout at the TV for her to stand up for herself!

Snow White. She breaks into these men’s homes and tells them they can’t eat yet and bosses them around.

Favourite is Mulan. She’s at least proactive.

Least favorite – Snow White.  It’s not personal, just my least favorite Disney movie.  Favorite is Rapunzel from tangled.  Honorable mentions to Moana, Belle and Pocohantas.

It’s a tie between Belle and Ariel. To be honest, I was never into the Disney princess movies.
