    I’m not sure what a split wedding ring is, but I got my semi-eternity band as my wedding band, at the ceremony 🙂

    @mestisanz:  I’m not wearing it yet, but we purchased a half eternity ring as my wedding band because I have children and he is helping me very much with them 😉

    @sarahbabs:  same here.

    Its my wedding band and I had it made to my specifications so that it matched my engagement ring in width, quality and cut of the diamonds.

    I don’t know what a split wedding ring is either, but my wedding band that I received during our ceremony is a full eternity band.

    Eventually, I’ll get a diamond anniversary band, probably in the next couple of years. This year has been tough, so working towards our 5th anniversary feels like a goal worthy of jewelry. For Christmas/birthday, I want to get a birthstone band and get a matching one with my son’s birthstone in it for my first Mother’s Day.

    Mine is my wedding band.

    With my first marriage, I had two. One was my wedding band, and I received an identical one on my 1st anniversary.

    I got an eternity diamond/blue sapphire (from Blue Nile) on my first birthday as a married couple. I wear it stacked between my plain platinum wedding band and solitaire engagement ring when I “dress up” (mainly because i need to get it sized, once sized down to fit better, I’ll alternate it to my right hand).

    My wedding band is, I suppose what you’d call half-eternity.  Though even the jeweler promised the diamonds would go half-way around and you wouldn’t be able to see gold on the sides, they don’t and you can.

    It’s my wedding band so I “received it” during our wedding ceremony, though technically I picked it up a few days before and just stared at it.  🙂

    well my engagement ring is an eternity so will probably be getting a wedding band to match it.
