Laurniko :  Pretty! I’m glad you love it. I personally wouldn’t consider a white sapphire ring (I have a blue sapphire) because I’m just not crazy about white stones. For me, if I was going to get a white stone, I’d probably go with moissanite as in that case I’d want something that’s super sparkly and doesn’t have to be cleaned as often. To me, sapphires “glow” instead of sparkle, and the combo of clear + glowing just doesn’t do it for me. But to each their own!

Laurniko :  absolutely stunning!!!!

 I actually love the inner glow of white sapphire’s they are gorgeous you are correct they don’t resemble a diamond or moissy but then again I love all 3 of them for their own beautiful characteristics I have my diamond wedding set and a moissy solitaire and a few bands to go with it..

I have been looking at white sapphires from chatham while I was picking my alexandrite but must wait till the alex is done before I start a bew project ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have this sapphire as a RHR and I agree with you! The sparkle and rainbow is much more than I expected. <3 Love your replacement!

Laurniko :  well you’re much more committed to cleaning than me, lol! I can’t remember the last time I cleaned mine…maybe a few months ago? We’re going to a wedding this weekend, so I’ll probably give it a good scrub before that. I totally understand the connection-to-your-old-ring sentiment. I’ve had a couple of moments where I’ve thought “what would I do if I lost my ring/damaged the stone irreparably,” and I really don’t know. It took us 7 months to find the sapphire for my ring, and I don’t know that I want to go thorugh that again…shopping for colored stones can be so difficult! What color blue was your old sapphire? I’ve never felt like mine clashed with anything, but mine is dark blue. So I think of it like a really good pair of dark demin – goes with anything (;

Never snorkel or scuba dive wearing rings. The sparkle attracts certain fish….like barracuda. You dont want to look like a barracuda snack.

Laurniko :  Thank you! I actually bought it a couple days ago from Helzberg. As far as I know, sapphires, natural or lab, should NEVER cloud! It’s not like CZ at all. These are forever stones. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love my white sapphire! And yes, they glow instead of sparkle. But you really have to appreciate it for its own unique properties. ๐Ÿ™‚ beautiful ring btw!

I was wearing a dark blue sweater when i took this pic. Its reflecting color so pretty!
