Did she wear a short or long dress? My wedding isn’t too too formal but also not casual. Somewhere in between. I just can’t envision if I would rather her wear a long dress or shorter dress. She is open to wearing either but I think she would prefer a shorter dress. She just demands, not requests :), that it isn’t matronly.
Anyone of pictures with your mom walking you down the aisle?

My mom and dad walked me down the aisle together, and both of my husband’s parents did the same for him. My mom wore a tea length dress, and my Mother-In-Law wore a full-length gown. I’ll see if I can dig up some pictures, but I think your mom should just wear what she’s comfortable in. 🙂 Either way, you’ll both look great together!

We plan on my mom walking me down the aisle. I would prefer she wear a dress just below the knee. My mom is 76 yrs old and isn’t very tall about 5 2 ft though and I don’t think she would wear anything shorter. I don’t mind a longer dress but I want her to be comfortable.

My mom is walking me down the aisle, and she is wearing a long, gold shift dress with a jacket.

what are your bm’s wearing? if they have long dresses, i think your mom should be in a long dress. if theirs are shorter, you mom could do any length.
why not just go out shopping and see what you like the best? just remember, a long dress can always be altered shorter if you decide that’s what you want.
