I haven’t made mine yet, but I plan on it. They are pretty easy, all you really need is some floral wire (about 24 gauge) and some floral tape. How tricky they are just depends on the type(s) of flowers you are using. Roses are easier than callas, for example. I know there are a couple of good video tutorials on YouTube, you should check them out. Oh, and practice! I can tell you right now you aren’t going to get it right on the first try.

I did my own flowers and also DIYed the boutonnieres. We didn’t do crosages, but instead more ‘girly’ like boutonnieres for the ladies. Had anyone else seen this done? I have but wasn’t sure if it’s normal.

Truthfully, I think the boutonnieres are some of the easiest to DIY vs bouquets or centerpieces. And yes, there are tutorials all over the internet.

I want to do my own flower’s but my Future Mother-In-Law is pitching a fit about it and to get her way has decided that her funding is now contingent upon me getting a florist.  Go for it, do a practice run and they’ll look gorgeous!

If you’re worried about doing them, you could always do silk flowers, or ribbon or fabric bouts.  That way you have plenty of time to get them done.  Or you could do a trial run with cheap flowers from the grocery store or Costco.  That way you can gague for yourself how you feel about it.
