I hate jeans, too. I bought a pair of Jessica Simpson jeggings the other day on sale at Marshall’s and they were a game changer.  Have you tried those? I live in leggings when I’m not at work, so these made me feel a bit more put together but still very comfortable.

I wear jeggings A LOT. None of my friends will wear actual jeans anymore, its all about the jeggings. And some of mine have the button and zipper and the pockets in the back and front, so they “look” like real jeans, so you can still tuck shirts in/wear a belt…they are just WAY more comfy.

I wear yoga pants/leggings all the time too. Or skirts/dresses.

I recently tried Hue jeggings and surprisingly I love them.  They also have the pockets in the back.  What a nice invention.  🙂  Jeans aren’t anywhere near as comfortable as jeggings, I don’t think I’ve worn mine since.

I have jeans that seem like jean material but are stretchy (not jeggings…more realistic to jeans, have actual pockets, etc) so they’re really comfortable. I also live in yoga pants when not at work (I have to wear dress pants to work).

Have you tried any of Coldwater Creek’s “jeans”? I have a couple of the sateen finish ones and I LOVE them.  They are super soft and come in lots of pretty colors.

hegetsme:  Yes, definitely try them out. Mine feel pretty close to jeans to the touch, but not while wearing them. Like PP said, they resemble jeans because they still have the back pockets and mimic front pockets as well. Mine were $13… my only regret is I didn’t buy more 🙂

It is so good to know I’m not the only one! When I was a kid everyone made fun of me for not wearing jeans, but I’ve always had sensitive skin and they just hurt! I found a couple of pairs that I can wear, but once they die I don’t know what I’ll do. I mostly wear yoga pants and leggings, but I’m at a point in my life where I don’t often have to look well put together so it doesn’t matter.

I’m not a fan of jeans either, I have a few pairs, but they aren’t my go-to.

On Weekends I wear:

– cotton capris

– walking/bermuda shorts

– skirts (flowy cotton, short, tea length, maxi)

– simple sun dresses

– cords (in the winter, they’re so much softer than jeans)

– leggings and tunics, sweater dresses

Yoga pants, athletic wear, I save for around the house/gym/athletic activities most of the time.  But I do end up going to lunch in crops and a sweater every now and again.

I have texture issues.  I base clothing (and decor) decisions around how they feel.  I can’t deal with scratchy fabrics.  So the jeans I do own are super soft.  Add in that I need a 37 inseam and it means I pretty much only wear Silvers.

I love the Levi jeggings, so soft and comfy! Scratchy jeans are THE WORST.

Jeggings are awesome! I’m the same way, I HATE jeans. They just don’t fit me right. Pinterest is actually where I get most of my ideas, you can do jegginings and a cardigan or blazer!

hegetsme:  the further i get into my 20s the less and less i wear jeans. I could never get a pair tbat fit right as an adult, too big or too small in places. I have an hourglass shape and mainstream jeans just aren’t built for that shape. The levi curve didn’t work either! so I wear a lot of leggings and recently discovered JEGGINGS. Cheap, look like jeans but feel n fit like leggings.. And they’re thick enough you are wearing jeans, and don’t look like you’re wearing leggings and forgot to put a dress or tunic on and look naked.

Sunfire:  I have been looking at a pair of the boot cut jeggings. If you don’t mind me asking, what size did you get and how do they translate to number sizes? I am an hourglass shape, and these look like they would be perfect for my shape!
