I didn’t get my dress there but they gave me a plastic bag with a breathable one over it. They told me to just leave them both down a few inches to let it breath.

As long as you have a breathable bag, it should be ok.

I just picked up my dress this past Saturdya (not at David’s), but they had been storing it for the last couple weeks in a plastic bag – but put the dress in a breathable bag when I walked out the store to keep it in until I start my alterations next month. We also kept the plastic bag just to give it some extra protection.

I picked up my dress in December 2012 and it sat in my parents attic, in the breathable bag until my first dress fitting in February 2014. Did not have one problem with it. You should be fine.

They put mine in a breathable bag, then put a plastic bag over the top because it was raining when I left the store. I took the plastic bag off and for a few weeks it sat in my closet. So long as you have it in a breathable bag it will be fine.

I don’t know if mine was breathable, but I bought the bag from them so I would assume so.

It’s been in the bag since August of last year and when I went for my first fitting everything was fine.
