I like tiaras.   If you like tiaras, then wear the tiara.  Who cares if others don’t like it?

When I see a blingy tiara like that, I immediately think royalty.  Like Blair Waldorf marrying the Prince in Gossip Girl.  It’s not for me.  It did look great on me, but I just kept thinking “royalty…royalty…I’m wearing a crown…”  LOL!  I went with a blingy hairpiece that I wear on the side of my head instead.  On your wedding day, go for what YOU want though!

I think if it was more like a headband, I’d like it more…

@AcheneMalefic  That tiara really does look fantastic on you with that hairstyle!  First time I think I’ve ever liked a tiara on a non-royal bride.  🙂

I have way too strong feelings about these (about a lot of jewellery actually). I personally wouldn’t wear a tiara unless it was like… a family tiara, handed down since 1606 when the…

And I don’t have one of those (damn you, great great great great great…. great grandparents)

Not that I judge others for not sharing these strange tangled-up feelings about a pretty headband, of course 😉

Im not a tiara girl but end up wearing one for morning ceremony. The tiara was custom made by a designer and I had a thin one and definitely NOT pointy. I had a headband for the reception.

I would have loved to have seen a picture of your dress. If the dress has a ballgown or princess feel, then the tiara is the natural choice.

I think it’s pretty. If you love it get it. I wore a small tiara for my first wedding 9 years ago. I’m definitely not wearing one this time around but I don’t dislike them.

I wore a tiara but it was a little shorter and I wore it more in an understated headband fashion.  Most didn’t really notice it was a tiara and the ones that did really liked it.

There was no way I wasn’t going to wear one! 🙂

I think it’s a beautiful tiara and I don’t generally like them but I really agree with

@This Time Round the only time I haven’t thought a tiara looked ridiculous on a bride was Kate Middleton because she is actually, literally royalty!

I would normally have voted no, but the picture you posted is actually quite lovely. I like it. Elegant.
