I didn’t wear one but I tried several of them on. They simply did not work for me, but one of my best friends got married in one this summer and she looked fantastic. It fit her beautifully and looked just gorgeous. So far as I know she no complaints. I have heard that their alterations are overpriced.

I got my dress for DB.  I LOVE it.  They were the only place that had a dress I loved on me.  It came in before they thought it would and is perfect!  I worked with a great consultant at the store and had a great experiance.

I adore my dress from DB, and I actually had a really great experience there as well. I wouldn’t recommend getting alterations there, as the prices they quoted me are somewhat ridiculous, but if you find a dress there that you love, I’d definitely recommend it!

Every bride I’ve ever seen in a DB gown has looked beautiful!  When I went to try on gowns, we went to DB but I just couldn’t make them work on me.  When I did find one that I kind of liked, it was already $699, not including alterations… so we decided to look elsewhere.  I knew that if we went to a smaller shop, I’d have a good chance of finding a gown for about the same price but of a higher quality.  I ended up getting my Maggie Sottero for $800 including alterations, so I was happy we went that route,

My dress is from DB and I love it!! It was great for me since I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. Some of the dresses I tried on were just not for me, but there we some that were really pretty! I think they’ve really stepped up their game lately to provide cost-consious brides with beautiful, special, AND afforable options.

I would definitely recommend DB.  I bought an Oleg Cassini dress there that I love and cannot wait to wear.  I am actually planning on getting my alterations there, too, despite peoples’ warnings.  I found a seamstress I love. I’d check with local boards to find out which store in your area is best.  I’m near Boston and have had mixed experiences, but thankfully I found a store with consultants I love.  I never expected to find a dress I love there, but now I can’t imagine not having it!  The fabric is fantastic and compares to dresses that were much pricier.
