@mrs_pudding_pop:  We were married (with two witnesses) and we did not have music.

Everything was outdoors on beautifully rustic landscaped grounds with walking paths.

H and I met for a first look, then joined arms and walked into our ceremony space together where the witnesses and officiant waited.  The actual “procession” was only about 30-40 feet of walking total, if that?  It would have felt funny to drag on the walking IF we even had music actually.

So all in all, I did not miss the music.

We did not do a first dance either.  We were in a dining room with other patrons of the lodge.

If we were very particular about a first dance song, we would have just played it on an iPhone and danced right there in the dining area (with strangers looking at us).  I did think of that, but it didn’t come to mind sitting at dinner.

I have been married twice now, and neither time did I have music.  I am even a hobby musician believe it or not!

We are getting married, just us 2. We haven’t firmly decided if we want to pay an extra $80 to have them press “play” (literally) on the ipod or not. If we do, I’ll be walking down to a pretty traditional song – Trumpet Voluntary.

Ours is included (iPod dock or cd), so I picked a song. Haha I don’t care how silly it might be with two of us. I am even bringing my Bluetooth speaker and my iPhone with our first dance song with us when we go offsite for photography!

@mrs_pudding_pop:  you gotta do it 🙂 we picked the first dance and processional songs that fit our relationship best. I honestly still have not decided which one to do for which, as I cry like a baby hearing them both! Haha
