We’re flying from Oklahoma City to the Montego Bay airport and our flight was $1530.80 but we’re going in peak season. I just happened to be looking at that right now!

Airfare is going to vary drastically based on where and when you are flying. For example when I fly to London from Phoenix to see my SO, it has only been at peak seasons (summer and Christmas), so my flights have been $1000 – $1100. When he has flown to Phoenix from London, it has been during the off season (autumn and spring), so his tickets have been around $700.

I use Kayak to find ticket prices and track them. It has great tools to see the airfare changes from day to day or week to week.

Sorry I didn’t really answer your original question, OP, but I figured I had some information to chime in as well. 🙂

2 flights to Dublin, IE were about $1500 total, with taxes and fees, and included one checked bag each. We’ve done this flight before several times and typically pay anywhere from $700-$900 per person, per rountrip flight. We’ve done nonstop flights, but the last few times we’ve had layovers in Chicago. The layover time varies, but it’s nice to get off the plane and walk around for a while.

Check kayak and get a base price before you start checking with individual airlines. Good luck!

I believe our flight from LAX to the Bahamas (close enough?) over Xmas time is about 1,500 pp with 1 stop in Miami

We got a great deal it feels like.

For both of us, it was $997.80.  That’s from Chicago to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

We have a short lay over each way, both in Charlotte, NC.

We booked really early. We booked in early April for our December 3rd honeymoon.
