I worked 6-7 days a week for years, luckily not anymore.

I would dedicate my day off as my day off. I would spend 3 hours in the AM doing stuff that needed to be done, but the rest was me time.

That means that even though I worked and went to school the other days I was really busy and did my cleaning and errands then. I would grocery shop at lunch or on the way home. I would spend 45 minutes before bed cleaning and do one job a day.  Wash floors Monday, Bathroom on Tuesday.

You have to be smart about you time. If your cooking dinner, how long is it taking you? Cook dinner on Tuesday but cook double the amount of chicken and turn it into something different on Wed. Then spend Wed’s cooking dinner time you just saved and do some cleaning.

A lot of times its doing things as you go.  I would get up in th emorning and put 8 eggs to boil while I showered. I would turn them off as I did my hair.  Then when I came home that night I could make egg salad very quickly and turn it into paninis or salad for dinner or lunch.

Waiting for your straightener to heat up? Put away 6-8 items out of that clean laundry basket. As you use mouthwash in the bathroom? Take a sponge and spray down the sink and wipe it clean.
