I work at a hospital, in the ER lobby as the receptionist/clerk/switchboard operator. I make $8.75/hr and around 20k/year. I’m also in school full-time.

I’m 21 and I work for The Australian Government as a Nanny/Home School Teacher and I ‘earn’ $60,000 per year.

My job is live in, so I don’t pay for rent, groceries, power etc. and that amount doesn’t include tax, so $60,000 is what I have to spend each year.

If you add the tax and living costs, it totals to over $100,000 per year (not sure of the exact figure though).

@alaska_99705:  dang I’m 26 too.. Are we really “old??” Haha I’m going to cry when I see a gray hair! Lol. I am a registered dental hygienist and work part time at 2 offices (4 days a week total) and I make $37/hour. It’s pretty good for only an associates degree (plus passing boards/licensure/etc).

I’m over 25 now, but just barely.

When I was 22 to 25 I worked for the municipal government – clerical and accounting – and made $35-40k

I’m 20. Right now I’m in school full time, and I nanny everyday after school for 2-3 hours per day. I make $150 a week for 10-12 hours on average. My job ends June 21st, but someone just contacted me about a full time position 40-50 hours per week paying $15/hour. I still have two years left of my undergrad, but I’m considering either taking some time off since I’m feeling pretty burnt out, and I’m still not sure what I want to do, or just transferring to an online program to take this position. It will last three years, so it is definitely tempting since most people in my area coming out of undergrad earn $12/hour on average.

I’m 19, have my own company and do quite well for myself. I work 15-20 hours a week and will make about $24,000 this year, which is pretty good since I’m still in school full time. My goal is to really work on improving my business after I graduate and earning $70,000/year working full time

I am 25 about to be 26  in a couple of months. I  make 50k as a nurse in DC with less than one year experience.  My end goal in like five in to ten years is to be making at least 70k and maybe become a  NP.

I’m 24 and I’ve been in the U.S. Navy for almost 4 years, just reenlisted for another 4, hooyah! At my current rank and location I make about 50k a year. My pay can fluctuate a LOT month to month, though, based on current cost of living.

I do signals analysis for the Navy, but I’m a few classes shy of my BS in Nutrition. πŸ™‚
