I posted earlier about rings I was considering. Well, one of them is in the Moissyco sale section, its Sol307
I originally wanted palladium and unenhanced or amora .75 carat. This ring is .75 Forever Brilliant and white gold. I can see advantages to white gold as it opens up possibilities for a wedding band (i’ve seen a few i like on etsy that dont come in palladium). I feel like at .75 it might not matter much but I’ve read so much controversy about Forever Brilliant (even recently over at the betterthandiamond thread) that I’m nervous about it. Any thoughts?

@MsSunshineBee: We just got our FB ring from Moisyco about 2 weeks ago. I can’t show you any pics, as Fiance has it “hidden” in his mancave, but I can assure you that the FB upgrade is beautiful! I think the old FB process was a coating, but now it’s not? In any regard, I have thoroughly inspected it (with a magnifyig glass) and I see absolutely no signs of there being a coating on there. You also get a lifetime warranty form Moisyco, that if your stone changes in any way, they will replace it at no cost to you.
As soon as Fiance puts me out of my misery and pops the question, I will post a very detailed review. I hope this helps 🙂

@nambi_pambi: Thanks. I also read reports of burn damage but at .75 carat I doubt that would even be noticeable? Here’s the thread that I found recently: http://betterthandiamond.com/discussion/ubbthreads.php/topics/800036/1
I also noticed on the Moissyco site it says that they ensure that their FBs arent coated or damaged. Not sure if they actually check them all out or what.

i’m also looking at a forever brilliant stone – so i’d be interested to hear from anyone who’s got one! also – we’re wanting to have the ring made by a certain jeweler, do you think that even though the jeweler will be sourcing and setting the moissy the moiss co lifetime warantee will be valid?
i just wondered if perhaps it’s only available to direct purchasers from moiss co; i hope not!

I saw an unenhanced and a FB in a local jeweler’s store today. BEAUTIFUL!!!
They were a 1 carat for both. The color difference was hardly noticeable. Just barely when it was outside, but I would go for the FB because it’s such a small price difference and for something you will keep all your life, you might as well.
