So, I LOVE moissanite and ran across this listing on etsy. I emailed the seller and asked if it has any yellow or blue hues to it and she responded that it is a 2 carat forever one moissanite and clear. I asked her if there was a certificate with it and she said ‘no’. Of course I bought it. Why not? At under $50 what do I have to lose? My question is could this be real? I mean, forever one moissanite rings go for waaaaay more than this so of course I’m skeptical. I havent received it yet but I’m cautiously hoping it’s not a CZ. Anyway. Thoughts???

I highly, highly doubt Forever One would be under $50. Even regular unenhanced moissanite costs a good bit more than that.

I would say there is no way that is a moissanite. No one in their right mind would sell one for $50 bucks. Especially not that size.
Edit: I just looked up the seller on etsy and in another of her forever one moissanite listings she says “Austria Crystal forever moissanite.”
I would cancel that transaction if I were you unless you are ok with a cz or Austria Crystal whatever that is. She also only has 3 reviews.

I don’t think its an F1 (probably not even a moissy). The price is way off, and it doesn’t look right. At least you didn’t waste a lot of money.

Thank you. Yah, I figured it was too good to be true. I thought maaaaybe just maaaaybe someone didn’t know what they had lol!! I just messaged her and asked more about it. This wouldn’t be my ‘forever’ ring, just an in between ring. I do NOT like CZ as it seems to always look fake (especially with larger stones). I specifically asked her about the Austria crystal moissanite so I’ll see what she says 🤔. Either way, I didn’t spend much and I can always send it back. 😎

You can look at it under a magnifying glass and see if you can see the forever one etched logo. I just got a F1 and you can see it w a magnifying glass.

That’s not a f1…it’s probably cz. Still a pretty ring though.
