All my makeup was in there. My phone. My whole life. I went right back and it was too late. No one turned it in. Fiance was asleep, but when I woke him up he just rolled over.
I’m just so defeated. I’m such a dumbass

happened to me once and it totally ruined my week

I had my wallet stollen right from under my nose once. After the initial shock and anger I took it as a sign of better things to come and I was right.

That’s the worst. I’m sorry.

That really sucks.
When you’re ready to think on the bright side, this is an opportunity to justify buying a new handbag, a new purse, and new make up :)!!!

*HUGS* Sorry, that totally sucks. Mrs. Ginger does have a point though, and buying new make-up is fun. Be sure to call and cancel all of your cards.

I hear you. I was shopping once at a KMart years ago, and had a cart full of stuff, my coat, and my keys (in the coat). I kept my purse on me though. Someone stole my cart thinking my purse was in it, took it to a fitting room, emptied the contents searching for something of value and when they didn’t find it..just left it all on the floor. Fortunately an employee found it and my coat and keys. At that point I was so upset I was no longer in the mood to shop and just went home. People SUCK.

@MissFireFlower: 🙁 I’m so sorry! I can relate to the horrible feeling! I have had to replace my wallet and everything in my purse twice in the last 1 1/2 years. First time was in Chicago at a McDonalds.. I sat it down on the counter when I paid, got my food, sat down, started eating it, and then maybe 5 mins. later, I realized my wallet wasn’t with me. I ran to the counter, asked the cashier if he had seen it, and he said no. I couldn’t believe it! Then fast forward 5 months later and my purse was in my FI’s car (in the trunk) and his car got stolen! I have the worst luck!
Things can only get better though.. I’m sorry it happened 🙁

You probably know this, but cancel your credit/bank cards immediately and consider changing your locks if your keys were in there (since the thief has your address from your license). Keep an eye on your finances and mail for anything unusual for a few months. I think this happens to everyone at some point, it will be okay!!

So sorry you’re dealing with this!
If it makes you feel any better — once you go through an experience like this, you probably will never lose another purse because you’ll be so much more careful from now on.

So sorry to hear! i did the same thing a few years ago – did some walmart shopping and got home and unpacked and realized I didn’t have my purse! Complete panic! Amazingly I got a phone call on the home phone from my mom saying an employee had found it (I left in in the cart outside!!!) and they called ‘mom’ on my cell. OMG sooo thankful for honest people! So sorry that the same couldn’t have happened to you! Some people suck.

Also put a fraud alert on your social so they can’t open any new credit with your ID. It lasts for 90 days and then you can renew it if you feel like you want to after that time period.

Don’t give up hope…my Fiance lost his wallet, we ran around to all the stores, nothing. 2 weeks later got a call from Kmart saying his wallet had been turned in and he got it back, money and all 🙂
