I forgot to include our website address on the Save-The-Date Cards and they are already being printed. What should I do? I can’t afford to have everything reprinted. Our save the date has a white back, should I just print our website address on the back by myself? Do I leave it off completely and just spread the word around? Our Save-The-Date Cards already have a second card that explains to hotel information, which is also already printed.

If you can print them from your printer.. professional looking , then go ahead and print them on the back—otherwise, leave it off and spread word of mouth

Do people need to go to your website? Does it have any vital information that they need to know right now?

I would do a pretty round sticker (even a clear one!) on the back that says “check us out at http://www.whatever.com!”

@kaw2be: Not really. It has more information about the hotel, but all the vital hotel info is on the card (name, phone number, rate)
I do own a colored laser printer so I could print them, but I’m scared to mess it up every more. Maybe I’ll just spread the word around at xmas time or something.

I would print it on sticky labels and stick a label on the back of each.

@MissNumbers: Do a sticker like Neetch suggested! That would be cute and you wouldn’t have to worry about putting the card in your printer. I’m sure you could get some printed at vistaprint or something for really cheap.

I’d try printing on one once you get them. If it works out, awesome. If not, its all good, just spread the word and include the website with the actual invite 🙂

I would put a sticker on the back of the card with the hotel info.

Love the sticker idea! If you have a paper cutter and some cardstock, you could also print and then cut out some business card sized papers saying “Visit our website at blah blah” — that’s what I did when I realized I needed something to say “Formal Invitation to Follow”.

Like the otehrs said, labels and stick on the back. Are they magnets? if so, go with white address labels, if not – go with clear. We actually chose to leave off our website password info because of space and aesthetics on the front, so I had a white mailing label printed that said “password: xxxxx” and stuck them to the back of each magnet.

I totally forgot about my website when I made my Save-The-Date Cards. I just had the date, city, and “formal invitation to follow” and everyone got the info they needed then. In the end, I had the website in our invitation suite and hardly anyone even used it.

We ordered the “free” business cards from VistaPrint to list our website. We created our own design and only had to pay for shipping.
The stickers are a fantastic idea, and you could make them yourself or order from a place like VistaPrint or Zazzle.

I would say do the sticker option everyone is talking about or print it on the back. You can get clear stickers so the edges aren’t noticeable 😉

You could email the address to everyone.
