@kerensa:  wear whatever you have already, the wristlet is fine. No one, I repeat NO ONE, is going to be looking at your purse.

Evening Bags for formal occasions are fun… IMO

Every woman needs at least one… a small basic black clutch is a good place to start.

(Kind of like the LBD Rule for every woman’s closet)

After that, you can as Glam as you dare… and whatever makes you happy / suits the occasion & your attire.

Silver, Gold, Colour, Sparkles, Fancy Fabrics, Embroidered, Bejewelled, or Unique Shapes…

At my age (over 50) I have a few now… all different from one another… I love getting dressed up, and I love having choices.

The cool thing about Evening Bags is they rarely go out of fashion (they just become “vintage”) so you can collect them your whole life.

Hope this helps,

@kerensa:  I have never seen a dressy wristlet, but if yours is, go ahead and use it. Otherwise I would get a simple black clutch.
