The bride can never be overdressed. Wear what you love.

I agree you only get one wedding day. I would wear the dress.

The time of day does not determine the elegance of the dress when it comes to a bride on her wedding day.

The bride gets to wear whatever she feels most beautiful in! Don’t worry about being too formal..no one will think twice about it.

I am in the camp of having your dress fit with the feel and setting of the day. That said, I think the bride is expected to be a notch above in terms of formality. Just remember, don’t buy a dress with a cathedral train when your aisle is only 10 feet long or don’t buy a huge ballgown if you have to walk through narrow passages lined with breakable antiques.
