It really depends on the necklace. Do you have a specific one in mind?

I wore garnet jewellery with a light gold dress and it really popped. I think the “don’t wear red and pink together” is more bright red and bright pink as the two main colours together and is often ignored by current fashions. Pale pink and red should be fine.

I love the necklace, but I’m not sure it goes with a ruffly chiffon dress. It looks a bit heavy (regardless of colour).

If the necklace has shades of both pink (like the dress) and red then it might work. I actually tried on that dress (it engulfed me, I was too small for it) so I know the shade of light pink.

If you’re worried about the colors clashing, try to find the perfect necklace, then take it with you to the dress shop so that you can make sure they go together.

That necklace doesn’t go with that dress. The dress is very soft and flowy, and that necklace is very bold.

I’m not sure that I can see a way that that dress would work with a red theme. :

@Araya: No to the necklace, but I think you should add red flowers to your bouquet.

This bride had a pink gown and had red flowers, I thought it was beautiful together.

You dont have to have red to match your theme.  Personally, I think red would not look nice with that dress. But that doesnt mean you cant wear that dress.  I would get jewlery that compliments the dress.  Then like pp said, incorporate some red in with the bouquet, and even maybe in your shoes too. Something like these ones, theyre a soft red and I think would look pretty with that dress.

and nail polish, I think the red accents will pop enough to tie everything together.

I think you want to keep the red subtle on you.  Do you plan on having your BMs wear red?
