so i’ve got plenty of time before my wedding, and being a massive bargain hunter am determined to find a well priced dress (despite having a bigger budget) as i feel that alot of the time we get ripped off and it’s possible to find a bargain out there. worse case scenario i’ll buy one from a bridal salon in a few months. no love lost!
after trying to inquire with jasmine’s bridal shop and failing, i’ve turned to scouring etsy. i just saw a post on the classifieds by a new shop and i have to say…their stuff looks pretty damn good.
i’m interested to see what other styles they come up with.
anybody successfully bought a dress from etsy before? one of the plus points it that the sellers speak english, so no awkward miscommunications could arise from language barriers. i’m particularly tempted by the sample diana copy they have for $550. that’s such a good deal! the size is pretty small though and i’m not sure if my wedding diet is quite up for that yet haha.

i’ve also been tempted by some amazing bridal sashes! my amateur research has found that for the same price as a retail store, you can get something much more detailed on etsy. and the veils are also alot cheaper!!

I too have seen their etsy and am in love with their Diana! My wedding is in 2013 and I feel quite the same as you, don’t necessarily want to be ripped off by designer if I can get something just as good. I am deeply considering the Diana, however I am still waiting to settle on a dress, seeing how fast styles change and how fast I change my mind! I have been emailing with them on Etsy and they seem legit. Let us know if you decide to go with them, I’d love to see the dress on someone else!
