Found invitations I LOVE online, they were custom designed by a customer. Now is it possible to print off a picture of the invitation and bring it to a local invitation place and have them replicate it?
I can’t DIY these invites because they are…well I am not sure of the right word but I could not design that and get the look I want. Also invitations are one area where we do not want to cut back.

Here is a link to the invitations please give me feed back. I realize the dark colours will not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Please note I have NO idea why they are called twilight, they are nothing like the movie invitations, so they have NO association with the movie, books or wedding. As far as I can tell it is a coincidense, just want that to be clear.

There could be legal issues with this? Like, copyright and whatnot. I’m really not sure.
They are probably called twilight because they are dark-ish, like during/just after twilight.

Is there a reason you just can’t order them from zazzle? They’re showing up as available to purchase. It’d be much more costly to have new ones custom created by a graphic designer than to just order these.

@simplifiedbride: I get nervous ordering something like invitations online, too easy for the wording or something to get messed up then you have to ship them back etc etc. If it was a matter of ordering jordan almonds online that wouldn’t faze me.

@jillmatt: I guess I never considered a legal issue only because who will see them/know except the guests *shrug*

I guarantee you that if you have them custom done it will never look exactly like those. Save yourself the money and headache and just order them online. Zazzle is a dependable company.

Usually, when you order items like this online, you’ll get a proof back to approve prior before the items are printed. That way, you can check wording, etc.
I wouldn’t suggest having the designs outright copied by someone else, as the original designer has the rights to them, but you could use them as an inspiration (i.e. have someone else design something based off of the image).
