I honestly don’t like it at all. Looks cheaply made and is not flattering to your figure. I think you could find something much better. I also have nothing against the hi-low style. I think you could find a similar style that is better constructed.

So sorry to add to the chorus of no’s, but no, I don’t like that dress at all I’m biased against hi los anyway , but that apart, it looks uncomfortable and ill fitting, the corset looks like actual underwear and not in a sexy way, and the inside of the skirt looks very puffy and poorly finished .
You can do much better with your great figure and legs .
Hope you don’t think I have been rude.

Best of luck with what decision you make! 🙂

It’s not about age appropriate for me. Honest opinion, this dress wouldnt be good on anyone.

wear what makes you happy. Sadly asking others for their opinion will leave you in heartache. If you’re asking the question, you already know the answer. If you’re happy, wear it.If not, I’m sure you’ll find something even better.

I’m not a fan of the dress. I think there are other dresses that could be way more flattering for you.

wow. She said she loves the dress. Perhaps be a little kinder in your reply?

Ach… sorry, I have to agree, it is not a good look for you.

she capitalised wanting “HONEST” opinions, so I gave my honest opinion. A tamer statement would not have done justice to my honest opinion of this dress. I would rather have a colourful blatant statement said to me if I were going in a very wrong direction for a very specific event such as a wedding (in fact when I once posted some query on the bee about what to wear to a funeral I got some real zingers, to put it mildly, in response – and you know what, in the end I was thankful because it helped me steer well off what would’ve been a highly inappropriate outfit). Sometimes we get something into our head that seems like a good idea and we need other people to paint a picture of what the rest of the world might see, and if it ain’t pretty, “I don’t really love it, maybe consider something else?” is not really gonna cut it. With 30 likes to my comment plus looking at the majority of other individual comments of this thread I know I’m not alone.

op i love your hair and makeup, you look like such a fun person…. nice shoes also…. but sorry to say my honest opinion is that dress is awful and would not look good on anyone of any age not even a 25 year old supermodel. i think a mermaid shape dress with a split at the front and halterneck in beaded champagne or golden tones would be great for you

I personally don’t fancy hi-lo BUT I think it that you have beautiful legs you can definitely show.
I second the bee that wrote that you could play with that dress by adding colors and an alternative bouquet.
The only thing I would change is the color. I don’t really love optical white, so I would choose some off-white shade or a bold color altogether.
