So….. I bought it well in advance but it’s the one (It’s called Danika… not sure who the designer is!). It wasn’t exactly what I imagined myself wearing but it will fit our destination wedding perfectly and I absolutely adore it!
I’m wearing a 12 in the pics which is a bit too tight around my hips… i’ve got that big old squat butt! So the lady convinced me to order a 16 which I’m kind of freaking out about because I plan to lose some more weight before the wedding and I have lots of time to do so. I will probably freak out when the 16 comes in and I try it on! 🙁
Pretty plain from the front.. (An angle which I’ve just realised that I didn’t get a good shot of….)… having the beading from under the bust removed… your thoughts on the belt? I want to have something to define my waist, is the belt silly with this style of dress???
P.S. Excuse all the tags and what not!!! 🙂

I think it looks great with the belt.

Wow, stunning gown! Not a style you seen so often…I love the back, it’s a showstopper.
I think you could do an embellishment where you have the belt…so have the crystal detail sewn on rather than as an actual belt, because I don’t think you want to have the belt going around the back of the dress as it would distract from the low back.

Amazing gown. Looks just fantastic on you.

It’s beautiful! I think the designer is Stella York http://www.essensedesigns.com/stella-york/dresses#detail/5618 (I saw it in a boutique in Sydney)
I really like it without the belt because you already have beading under the chest area and then adding a belt just throws it out of whack.

You look awesome! I’m not a dress twin, but I love the uniqueness of your dress, and think it looks great around your hips 🙂

@ElovesJ: WOW! What a gorgeous dress. It looks perfect on you. I agree with you and would remove the beading under the bust and add a belt. The beading under the bust is pretty but the belt breaks the dress up more and flatters your figure.
