I ordered my dress about a month ago and I love it. It’s Casablanca 2041. However, I bought it before we decided on a venue or theme. We have now decided to get married in my parents backyard and I’m thinking I would really like to have a brunch reception. I’m worried that the dress isn’t going to fit in anymore. Do you think it’s too formal?

@HoneysHoney: It’s beautiful. Keep it.
One suggestion would be to change into something else less formal for the reception.

@kaylee26: I like your idea of chaning into less formal
This is a beautiful dress and it’ll look stunning for a backyard wedding

I think the dress is still great for a backyard wedding. The flow, draping and fabric of the bottom make it more fitting for your venue.

Definitely keep it! No bride can EVER be overdressed for her own wedding!

You have to keep it! It is so beautiful and like others have said, the flowing shape of it is perfect. Plus you are the bride and get to decide what the dress attire is for your wedding 🙂

Keep it!! I wouldnt change out of it either. I have a ball gown with a long train (will bustle) and I’m wearing it to a steakhouse after our ceremony. I considered changing into a short and fitted “reception dress” but I paid a lot for this dress that I’ve fallen in love with. I cant imagine wearing another dress and its the only time I’ll get to wear it. Keep it on and rock it!
