Hi! I’m coming out of lurkdom to show off my dress that I just purchased today! The designer is Palazzo and the style is Tess. Be sure to check out the back of the dress – that’s the best part!
It doesn’t come with a belt (the first pic of the front shows no belt), but I did try on a couple belt options which I provided pictures of – a sparkly one and cream satin one. What belt option do you like?
I’m also curious if anyone else has a Palazzo dress 🙂

Lovvvve the sparkle belt!!!

I love the sparkle belt, but I voted no belt because it might take away from the back of the dress to have ribbons hanging down. It is beautiful and you look great in it!

Very gorgeous back! I think you should wear a satin belt with flowers on it 🙂

I LOVE IT! I like the sparkly belt… gives it just the right amount of “bling”.
It looks gorgeous on you… great choice!

I voted satin, but in a different color other than light. 🙂

I like the sparkle belt, but I agree that it might take away from the back. Can you get a seamstress to add the belt so that nothing has to hang? Maybe jsut start and finish the belt directly beside the zipper.

Satin: classic, soft on the eyes and timeless. The satin belt adds more definition by smoothing the transition from upper body to the skirt without drawing too much attention to itself.

I like the satin, although it would probably look best if the color was the same or darker than your dress. The sash looks very white which makes your dress appear dingy.

I agree with Bride_colleen: LOVE the sparkle belt, and have them stitch it to the dress so that it’s almost like it came with the dress. You don’t want to “tie” anything over the gorgeous back details! But…. DEF love the sparkle belt!

Wow, you ladies are fast! Thanks for the immediate feedback 🙂
I absolutely agree that there should be no ‘tie’ from the belt hanging down the back – I should have clarified that in my post. Any belt option would be sewn into each side of the back zipper so nothing hangs down.
My bridesmaids dresses are going to be a light gray/silvery color – for those of you suggesting a different color belt do you think a light grey satin would be pretty?

Oh my I loooove the fabric of that dress! No belt! It will take away from the airy-ness of the dress.

I don’t like the sparkle but maybe one with the handmade organza flowers would look wonderful with that dress. Then you could do it in any color that you wanted.

I love it with the sparkly belt, however agree nothing should be tied over the beautiful flowiness of the back, so if you can get it stiched in where it stops before the flowy back then belt it up- if not the dress stands alone and is still gorgeous!

I love the dress! Definitely don’t tie anything over the flowiness of the back, but I like the sparkly belt a lot.
