Why would you try on a dress that was $2000 over budget??? That’s setting yourself up to fail. I would look for similar dresses elsewhere. PMing you a link from the shop.

radem:  That’s funny because by that logic you should not offer yours on my post.

Unfortunately it is $2000 over budget but I just can’t seem to find the style I like within budget”

I took this to mean that you did not purchase it, given that usually when a person has a budget, it’s there for a reason, and it doesn’t seem worth mentioning if you didn’t have a problem, or saying you can’t find anything in her budget. $2k is a huge gap between budget and actuality. OP if you did buy it, congrats, but if you didn’t, again, I sent you a link to a remarkably similar dress, that is $880, which would fit better into your budget.

Gorgeous dress! In the scheme of things…. i.e. A life together…. $2K over isn’t terrible. And worth it to have THE dress. You will feel and look a million bucks!

That dress is gorgeous. I wish I had the figure to get away with something like that, lol.

Meanwhile, it’s great to see another Aussie bride chime in on these forums.
