Very pretty!  If it were me, I’d bite the bullet and pony up for the $70 matching sash.

Ahhh I looooooove Saja! I was going to order a dress but I had no way of trying anything on (no locations anywhere near where I live). Their dresses are so beautiful and they have great customer service. I think you made an excellent choice!!

I’ve never priced out nice silk charmeuse fabrics, but maybe if you’re handy with a sewing machine you could make your own?  The only problem is that you’d have to buy a long piece of silk to avoid seams partway through the sash (so you’d have to pay for all that fabric when you’ll really only use a small part of it), but maybe it might be cheaper?

Looks gorgeous! I fell in love with some Saja dresses a few months ago and plan on making an appointment at their NYC flagship in a few months to try on some dresses.

Beautiful dress!  I love the way the fabric falls!

Oh man, I was just about to suggest what bug_in_a_rug did.  I made a silk charmeuse sash for my high school graduation dress because I couldn’t find one in the proper width, length, and color, and it came out fabulously even though I was by no means an expert sewer at that point.  It took no more than three hours to make (the hardest part was cutting the fabric), and it cost $4 (I bought the fabric online with a free shipping coupon).

Do you know anyone with access to a sewing machine?

Very pretty!  I have to say though, the sash makes the dress even nicer.  I hope its in your budget!

@jyh – Love the dress!  I’m looking for a new dress (I’m not too fond with my current one and love Saja’s dresses) but have very little time!  Do you know how long it takes to make the dress?
