I’m having 2 weddings at completely different venues and was stressing about how to make 1 dress suit both occasions. The situation became doubly hard when I fell in love with a ballgown while in Europe visiting my future in laws. 🙁 But then I was blown away at my FMIL’s generosity as she looked at me like I was crazy and said ‘Why can’t you have both? This dress is my gift to you!’
So, behold: my 2 wedding dresses:
First up, Maggie Sottero ‘Doreen’ for our magical Grand Canyon wedding:
Second: Cosmobella Style 7408 for our Romanian cathedral wedding:
They Austrian seamstresses are making the lace part into a removable jacket that I can take off after the ceremony when it’s time to party down.
I’m SO EXCITED that I can barely contain myself. I’ve already told my fiance that I will be vacuuming the house in my dress after the wedding because, hello, they are gorgeous dresses that deserve to see the light of day more than once. 🙂
