They’re both your engagement rings, and both your wedding rings. I say keep both sets, and switch it up as you like! Mix and match, as it were.

Never let good jewelry go to waste, I say. And when the time comes, you can still give a ring to your eldest, if that’s what he wants.

I would put the engagement ring on a necklace. If the wedding band has stones – and you don’t want to keep it as a RHR use the diamonds to put a halo around the stone from your ering on that necklace! That’s what I would do. 🙂

I had a friend who took a parents wedding band, had it cut in half and attached earring posts to eachhalf.  It made a gorgeous set.

i would just keep them for your children. selling them will never fetch the value they are worth.
