This morning my husband’s phone had an alarm go off while he was in the bathroom so I rolled over to shut it off. On his screen I saw there was a notification for new pins for pinterest. I thought this was weird because my husband is definitely not a pinterest kind of guy. Curious, I opened the app. There were several boards he had made and pinned photos to. The first one was a board full of blonde teenager cheerleaders (labeled babes). The second one was dancers in various stretched out posed, the third one was an album of random girls taking highschool senior pictures….and the last one, the one that worries me the most was a board dedicated to what looked like very young girls off of dance moms, one of them was jojo, a blonde dancer who is only 15. I spent the whole day sick to my stomach. I guess there could be a reasonable explanation for this but my husband has had problems with a porn addiction in the past (though nothing like this) and the way the other boards looked….I just dont know….what should I do? He is 43…

Fuck that. I’d be calling a divorce attorney.

And the police, frankly, if you’re sure that girl was 15.
edit: ok went back and read again, realized its not child porn just.. clearly super super sketch. So revert to just +1 to what hikingbride said.

I really don’t know what to say, but I’d find this DEEPLY uncomfortable and I wouldn’t be able to keep it to myself.

I just wanna say I feel pissed off for you and YUCK to him!

He’s managed to find the sneakiest way possible to keep collections of photos of women and girls that to any other Pinterest user looks innocent…given his past on top of that, I’d be packing my bags.

What I find majorly creepy is that he has a board of pictures of ACTUAL underage girls. Not just like early twenties chicks who can pass for high school cheerleaders but like actual, known, legitimate preteens/teenagers.
What was the title of the board with the youngest girls? Not that it matters but I mean, the other one was “Babes” so it made me wonder.
I would probably confront him but I can’t think of any answer that would make me feel comfortable being married to him.

I am alarmed and appalled at your husband’s actions. To me it sounds like pedophila, it’s sick and twisted and not okay.
Then out of curiosity, I just googled that little girl JoJo since I had no idea who that was and wow! It’s even worse than I thought not knowing who she was. Don’t get me wrong, a girl as young as 15 is NEVER okay to be sexualized butthat girl JoJo is very very young looking. She looks like she’s about 10 years old.
I would be terrified if I were you OP. I agree with PP, no questions need to be asked; I would be done.

This is one of the rare instances when I’m in favour of snooping. Normally a person has a right to privacy, but after what you found I’d go full-on FBI on his ass. Search his computer if you can, including opening any folders with innocent boring titles that could be deceptive. Also be highly suspicious if you can’t access his computer or if there are password protected files. The pics you saw may not themselves be pornography, but only a pedo would have collections of them and his purpose in collecting them turns them into pornographic (with the innocent girls in the photos chillingly unaware of how their photos are being used).
I’d go to the cops even if I didn’t find anything more on his computer (doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, he may be clever at hiding his online activities), I don’t know if they can charge him with anything but at the very least your hopefully-soon-to-be-ex-husband will know he’s on their radar. Thing is, you don’t know what he’s up to 24/7, I wouldn’t put it past this predator to hang out where teen girls hang out.
p.s. check his browser history while you’re snooping, there’s always the off chance he’s that stupid.

Cops, then divorce lawyer. I’m so sorry.

Collect evidence and call a divorce attorney. Leave, this is not ok. I’d be worried how this would escalate.

That’s ducking disgusting bee. I agree with divorce asap.

I think everyone here needs to chill a bit. I really don’t hink you need to call the cops over a Pinterest board – at this stage. I do think you need to confont him about it. Then, if you don’t like his answers, or something seems off (trust your gut), then pursue further help externally – i.e. cops and/or getting legal help.
If you call cops/lawyers now, then that’s it, your marriage and everything you have is over. You’re making assumptions based on the age you think these girls are.
I should note if it’s true and he’s looking at these photos salaciously, you need to run run run to the cops, and don’t give it a second thought – I don’t want you to think I in any way condone this kind of behaviour. It’s sick and nonredeemable. I guess if it was me I would make noise about it to him first, because there’s obviously a lot you’re not sure of.
