Ok, I went for my – I hope – last dress shopping experience. I am pretty sure I found the dress I want. I finally got that feeling when I tried it on and it’s just lovely. I’m going for the first dress below, but ordering it in the champagne color as the second dress. It’s a Casablanca 2010. I just need to share and see if others think it looks as good as I do, or to be told if I should look at others ’cause this doesn’t look good. The second dress is a Casablanca 1900.

Oh! I tried the Casa 1900 in the champagne/ivory color – I think champagne is a gorgeous color, very flattering. Hard to tell w/o seeing the other dress in that color though. Is it similar to the 1900 dress in that it has the ivory overlay above the champagne?
(Major EDIT – removed pointless info b/c I misread the post initially LOL sorry).
My advice is to go with your gut feeling. The dress is gorgeous and if it gives you that *feeling* then you know it’s for you ๐

I am going to give you my honest opinion on this one.
First, I think you look beautiful in both of the dresses here. I love the lace on the bottom of the dress you have chosen (2010)!
However, I like the coloring of the 1900 (I’m a little biased, though, b/c I got the Casablanca 1971 in Ivory/Champagne!) and I also like where the waistband on the 1900 hits you. I think that the more natural waistband height is more flattering on you than the higher, empire waistband.
That being said, you need to go with your gut. That’s just my opinion, and if you hadn’t shown the second dress, I wouldn’t have even known the difference and would have told you it’s awesome without even second guessing ๐

Like Tinylittlebird, I think the waistline on the second dress is a bit more flattering (not that you don’t look gorgeous in your “chosen” dress ๐ The first dress has the most beautiful top and the lace overlay is to die for. Without opening a can of worms, is it possible to order the first dress with the slightly lower waistline? And without costing a fortune? If so, it might be worth thinking about.
If not, no worries because seriously, both those dresses make me want to ditch mine and go Casablanca ๐

First off, Congratulations! The lace detail is just lovely! I think both gowns look beautiful on you, but the natural waistline is more flattering on you. I also think that the champagne belt does something to make the lace “pop” more. Gorgeous gowns! Good Luck and Happy Planning!

I really love the way the lace falls to the hemline on the one you chose. And agreed – the champange color is great.
