@bowsergirl:  Kudos to you for doing that! That is, in fact, a beautiful dog. You definitely have some good karma points in your bank. 🙂

@bowsergirl:  Ah yes, the most feared day of the year for some dogs!  I definitely know of a few friends who have dogs that hate fireworks.  Glad she found a safe space with you to spend the night!

@Cory_loves_this_girl:  Took the words right outta my mouth!

My uncle had an Akita, they are quite the dogs.

I am glad you found the owners and that they were happy to have her back!

That’s a beautiful ending. We recently found a dog roaming around in the streets so after observing him and identifying he was on his own we picked him up, he had a collar with his phone number and address on it so we tried calling the number and it kept going straight to voicemail, we went to the house of the address and no one was home, gate was open, didn’t want to leave the dog there so went to the neighbours who told us he doesn’t actually live there anymore and gave us the new address, we went to the house and knocked on the door and asked if he was missing a dog, the guy said yes and identified the dog and came out to the car and the dog started shaking and he literally had to pull the dog out of the car. He’d been so firnedly with us earlier and it looked like he was scared of the guy. I hated leaving hinm with him and couldn’t stop thinking about it all night. I hope he wasn’t treating him poorly 🙁

@Missy_Star:  Oh my that would not sit right with me either! Have you thought of calling your local humane society and seeing if they would investigate?

You’re a good human being.

Edit: I just realized how potentially sarcastic this may seem. But no, I mean it, I’ve been the worried owner of a lost pet and knowing that people like you exist makes me happy.
