I need a good foundation and concealer that will photograph good for the wedding. I posted this same question not long ago and most of the responses were for MAC and sephora but I don’t know of any stores remotely close that sell them. And I’m too scared to attempt to buy it online. Anybody have any good suggestions for more common drug-storish brands? I’m basically looking to give my skin a more even tone and cover undereye circles. I don’t have any major problems (knock on wood) that require super heavy coverage. Just hoping to look more “finished”. I don’t wear foundation daily so any suggestions are appreciated! 🙂

@jennylynn13: I get Loreal Trublend. It’s really good. I used it for my e-shoot. It’s reccomended by a top make-up artist, Kandee Johnson. It is not oil based so it wont clog your pores and it’s really reasonable. It’s like 8 dollars for a bottle.

My makeup artist friend swears by MAC and Sephora… I use Loreal FIT 230.

Look up Kandee Johnson makeup on youtube. She has really cool videos on how to do make-up and what products to buy. Love her!

Bare minerals is good, but it doesn’t photograph as well as some of the liquid foundations…plus you will probably have to re-do your makeup if you use it.
I use bare minerals for my everyday makeup, but I’m looking for other foundation for special occasions that need to be photographed.

I also am in need to good skin products. I need to know what people do for flawless looking. Like, do you use concealer for dark circles/blemishes and then cover your whole face with a foundation? also do people use mineral powders? (sorry I’m make up impaired…)

I use the covergirl “clean” line of foundation and than i use the matching loose powder to dust over giving a very even skin tone. It also photographs pretty great making my skin look glowy. And about $15 for the set you can’t go wrong.

Oh also I’m hoping to find something without spf. I read that foundation with spf in them make you look ghostly because it reflects light. I def don’t wanna look like casper! Ha!
