I used the foundation from Benefit (through Macy’s) and it held up wonderfully! Our wedding was in June so we got a little warm/sweaty while dancing and I definitely cried. My makeup was still perfect at the end of the night. Good luck!

You could try a good primer and also a setting spray after your makeup is applied. I haven’t loved any primer yet so maybe someone here can provide some rec’s. I currently use Clarins Instant Smooth – it’s just okay. For setting spray, I have Model in a Bottle. The more theatre brands have them too – probably for less $$ – like Cinema Secrets or Ben Nye. If you’re oily you could try one of those oil mattifying primers – i’ve used them from mineral makeup companies.

My MUA used Trish McEvoy and it didnt run.

I’m trying Chanel Pro Lumiere for some pics coming up. If you’re oily – maybe Matt Lumiere would work – they get raves.

My MUA used Chanel products and I had airbrush for my special day.

i went and did the whole makeup test at Sephora’s too. First get the makeup setting spray. i think it’s by urban decay. it’s amazing. I’m super oily and this really helps. spray it on before you start putting on makeup and then again when you are done and it sets it in place.

i really liked makeup forever but they couldnt find the right shade for my skin so i went with NARS which stayed on great. i also got the “amazing coveup” really it’s name and that is the best coverup ever!
