I’m new to the BB cream game. I use L.A. Girl pro BB cream.

I live in a ridiculously sweaty/hot place in northern australia, and hate the feeling of heavy foundation on my skin. I’ve used the cheapo garnier bb cream for years now and swear by it. you have to get the one for oily skin though! (the one for normal/dry skin is crap and will slide off your face in 2 minutes).

Glam Life Guru, or Tati, on youtube recently reviewed a foundation by Wet n Wild that she says is better than a lot of her high end foundations. I trust her opinion on makeup, look her up.

I wear a light moisturizer and Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream with 2% salicytic acid daily. Love it!

hopfenn :  I’m not sure if they’ve changed it at all since I last used it (probably 7-8 years ago) but whatever their formula was then, if I got sweaty it would get itchy. It was really odd and it’s likely they’ve changed the formula in that time.  I did love the way it looked, though. Also as a heads up, if it’s still the same formula it’s not great to wear in flash photos because it has a lot of light-reflecting particles that can leave you prone to flashback.  It’s great for daily wear, though!

hopfenn :  I used to use Bare Minerals for a while but it didn’t seem to stick well for me in all-weather conditions. I highly recommend Bobbi Brown’s BB cream since it has SPF and so far it works great in all weather conditions: snow, hot and humid climates, and beach vacations.

If you are having trouble finding a pale enough shade, I would give Guerlain’s Meteorites collection a try. It’s called “Light-Revealing Sheer Make-up Anti-Fatigue Effect Baby glow.” It’s a bit too pale for me, but they have it in various shades and it looks great on the days that your skin is dull and lifeless looking.
