I like to watch the show but I want to be able to be as relaxed as possible on my wedding day…having camera crews there would be stressful. It could also stress out my guests. And then most of the weddings featured on the show are way more expensive than my wedding will be. 🙂 But I do like watching the show for ideas.

I wouldn’t mind being on TV or having people judge my wedding because I know my wedding will be amazing to me and my SO and that is all that matters.

My issue would be that all the people I’ve come into contact with that have been to a wedding or had a wedding where it was featured on a TV show say that the romance and intimacy of the event was ruined because there were cameras EVERYWHERE.  They say that cameras typically got in the way of the guests being able to see things like cake cuttings and vows and whatnot.

I love watching it because it’s fun to see how different people and their weddings are. But it’s also obnoxious because those women are so fake with each other and some people are just WAY too judgemental and over the top.

Plus I hate when someone spends, like, $40,000+ on their wedding and then they have the nerve to say they can’t afford a honeymoon. Really????

I could never be on there because I hate judging people and being judged. It’s my wedding — why do I care what anyone else thinks?

No… I watch the show every now and then but I wouldn’t want to be on it! People will judge weddings regardless, but it sounds like even more stress to deal with, and I wouldn’t want my wedding televised.

I wouldn’t want TV cameras at my wedding, even if it were a show documenting how awesome it is or something.

Also, I’m pretty sure my small wedding/dessert reception would come in last, as small weddings seem to on this show.

Anyway, I would think that it wouldn’t be SO bad to have the cameras/three extra guests are your 150-200 person wedding, but I can’t imagine having shaved my guest list down to like 50 people, and having three randos there judging everything, instead of three friends or family members who I love.

I love watching the show but I would never want that for myself. The girls on that show are so mean to each other! They are nice to the bride when talking to her, but then they just talk about how ugly her dress is behind her back and how to food is terrible… ugh, I don’t want that, no no no

I couldn’t do it, I wouldn’t want TV cameras at my wedding, and I also would be afraid of all of the negativity of the “competition” (i.e. the three other brides). That show always gets so negative and judge-y. The biggest turn-off to me is the TV cameras, though – I am not 100% on board with having a videographer at our wedding because I’m definitely camera-shy.

I wouldn’t mind it in theory, but they just seem really unnecessarily mean and unpleasant on there. For TEH DRAMAZ.

Most of the episodes I have seen have been super catty! It was AMAZING to me how low they rated eachothers wedding. I mean, seriously?! …Sigh.

I saw one episode where everyone was super nice and friendly and it was the best episode of the many that I have watched. I REALLY liked that one.

Drama & Bitchyness doesn’t always sell… At least not with me.

I love that show but I would never want my wedding on tv and have people judging it. I would be a nervous wreck.

I need a poll answer that says, “No. I’m not interesting in being on TV.”

I wouldn’t want to be on the show!  I don’t care what everyone else thinks of my wedding as long as I was happy with it.  Smile

Plus, sidebar, the whole show irritates me because I always feel like they don’t compare apples to apples.  If it were really fair, they would put girls with similar weddings and similar budgets together to judge each other’s weddings, and they totally don’t do that.  Obviously, the girl who has the $5,000 hometown backyard wedding and the girl who has the $40,000 black tie ballroom blowout don’t have the same tastes and aren’t going to like each other’s weddings because they have two totally different tastes!
