I just got done watching last night’s episode of Four Weddings on DVR. I love the show but I find myself a bit bored with it this season. I feel like every wedding is the same. Ceremony in a Catholic church or other indoor setting, huge cocktail hour with tons on food, tall centerpieces etc. I know they film most episodes in the NY/NJ area and it seems like those type of weddings are the norm there. I like the S. Florida episodes more because you get a little more variety (more outdoor weddings, beach ceremonies etc.)
I’ve seriously haven’t been to a wedding in a church since I was a child. Most weddings out here seem to take place in the summer, outdoor ceremony, about half the time outdoor reception as well. I’d love to see more variety on the show. Maybe switch to California brides for a season or a do a Destination Wedding special. I’m actually surprised they don’t show more rustic or country weddings because that seems to be so trendy and in right now. It’d be awesome to see a Colorado lodge wedding or something like that. Anyone else think more variety would make the show more interesting?
