@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  Ah, okay! Good to know about shelf life, that way if I pick some up I know they’ll be good for a while. How many test stores are there? Which 3 fragrances never went national?

@CiaArielleNeugebaue I’m going for vintage romantic theme. I plan on having candles all over the chapel and on the [email protected] the reception. I am thinking that scent for the candles would be something safe that is widely appealing like vanilla. I LOVE jasmine-outside my bedroom growing up there was a large jasmine bush and i remember falling asleep to the smell of jasmine but my fi isnt wild about jasmine and i know a lot of people are alergic.  whatever smell, I would try to make sure it wasn’t overpowering.

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  Thank you so much for typing all that out! I live in a suburb of Cleveland. Tower City used to be busy but its been loosing a lot of tenants. I feel like there are much larger Bath and Body Works stores – how do they pick what is a test store? I could see there being a lot of clearance products at Tower City.

This may be a weird question, but do teh stores keep the stuff for sale bins in their store or does it get sent back THEN sent back to stores? I don’t know what stores my mom stops at, but she sometimes gets small containers of lotion or body wash, and then tells me full size will launch in a month or so. She really liked some grapefruit line that they had but discontinued it. I just bookmarked your blog, and will probably send it along to my mom

Mr TTR and I eloped to a Destination Wedding (so nice warm climate)… I wore my Summer go-to scent… Carolina Herrera’s 212 Sexy.

Definitely one of my faves.

@CiaArielleNeugebauer:  that’s great that you have your signature scent. I’m just a little concerned about all the scented candles at the reception. I like some of Bath and Bodyworks’ candles, but I can only tolerate them in moderation. I am very sensitive to heavy perfumes and can suffer from pretty serious allergic reactions (sneezing, headaches, nausea, vomiting). As a guest at your wedding I don’t know that I would be able to enjoy myself, or even stay if there was so much heavy perfume in the room.

I wear Pink Chiffon, Paris Amour, Sweet Pea, and Winter Candy Apple from B&B Works on a regular basis. For my wedding, I am planning on wearing Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf.

I’ll be wearing Fancy by Jessica Simpson! It’s just like her clothes and shoes–a super talented team that makes amazing products and sticks her name on it!

I would definitely have scented candles, as long as they were a subtle scent (like vanilla)!

My daughter had severe allergies so I got out of the habit of wearing perfumes and colognes and trained myself to buy as much unscented body care products as possible. After years of doing this, now I get headaches from perfumes and colognes. I do not own any and I will not be wearing any on the big day.

I am having some trouble deciding….

I picked out Balenciaga “Florabotanica” at Sephora one day, on a whim. I love how weird, pretty, and peppery it is. I screams “mystery woman”. It’s begging me to make it my signature scent.

But while I was there, I also got See by Chloe. It’s peachy and much lighter. My wedding is coming up in July, and I feel like the lighter scent might fit the [sweltering] day better.

BUT, when I went to Victoria’s Secret to cash in a secret reward card, I tried one of their new/limited ed. citrus scents, the lemon one. It’s so sweet and lemony. I like the idea of FH thinking of me & our wedding day every time he smells lemons. Even if it just tile cleaner. :}

So, I dunno! All three perfumes are waiting in their boxes for me to make a decision.
