Unfathomably:  I love it! I have wanted to do that with mine too. It would probably be crazy expensive.

Unfathomably:  Only for TV. Really, can you imagine lugging that thing around with you?

i think its terribly tacky to frame a wedding dress. regardless of how beautiful the sress is. Yuck.

you pay for a photographer to capture the beauty of the day. Not to frame the dress.

I think there was a thread about this before and where to get it done. I don’t care for it though.

Unfathomably:  I just don’t see why the wearer would have a need to see their dress everyday in their clOset. Photos are enough for me though….

I actually think it would be great to hang it in a walk in closet or something. I’m currently looking to get a big curio cabinet to put my dress in to store in my closet.

It was Adrienne Maloof and it was in her ginormous walk in closet. I think it’s pretty and don’t understand how it’s tacky, if it’s not in a public area, like you said. But Adrienne obviously has more money than we could all imagine and her marriage ended horribly, so I guess looking at it everyday didn’t help lol.

I don’t see why it’s tacky. I really don’t understand how we can sit and call something that doesn’t have anything to with us, tacky. I thought it was a beautiful thing to do and I’ll be putting mine in a large shadow box, along with my other wedding things. It’ll be in a private place where no one else will have to see how tacky I am.

FutureMrsKHBD:  I was thinking the same thing! If I have a huge walk in closet, I will frame it behind the door. Who the hell is going to go into my closet and judge me?!

If it was in my kitchen or above my mantle, I’m sure someone would judge me. Hell, I’d judge myself lol.
