I love this idea, but I fell weird because we didn’t write our own vowes.  We had to use the generic Catholic ones.

Same here for the Catholic vows, but i was thinking of framing our speeches, which were much more personal, and happen to be saved on my computer.  Maybe excerpts from both?!

Can someone tell me where to get this done? I love a couple of the examples, but can’t find anywhere to have mine done!! Help!

Our plan is to have ours done as our 1 year (paper) anniversary gift to each other.  Our invitations were a custom watercolor/calligraphy design I commissioned an artist to make, so I plan to have her do our vows as well.

I have a large canvas wedding picture in our bedroom, I want to make a canvas on either side with each of our vows. We wrote our own vows as well and they are really specail to us.

That’s really sweet. I love that first one!

I’m already framing our guestbook (fingerprint tree) and an invitation, and making a shadow box for our handfasting cord, so I think I’m good on the display stuff.  I do have a printed copy of our vows, and I’d like to do something special with them, but they might just go in to a scrapbook.
