Are you just afraid of being one girl short or do you genuinely want her to stay in the wedding? If my Bridesmaid or Best Man was causing that many problems I’d be like, “Buh bye.” My SIL was a nightmare, and I told her she either need to suck it up or don’t come at all, which sparked a HUGE fight that Darling Husband needed to deal with, but she eventually calmed down. I didn’t care about one less Bridesmaid or Best Man or how bad it would look. If she was going to be a bitch about everything I’d just rather not have her there.

Without knowing any other details, I would simply let her drop out of the wedding if she is causing that many issues.  I had to come to this realization with my former Maid/Matron of Honor, who is now just a Bridesmaid or Best Man.  Honestly, it’s better to be one girl short than to have someone who is wearing on your nerves on an already stressful day.  Are you worried about rifts in the family or other issues if she drops out?
