- Wedding: August 2013
I’ve been looking for a better job for a while now and have finally found something that matches my wants perfectly (at least I believe it does)
I went for a first interview last Wed and it went well. I was surprised when I saw that it was a panel interview with the owner, the office manager and the receptionist asking me questions but I handled it very well, we cracked a few jokes and laughed and everyone seemed to like me. The owner showed me around and explained what each person’s role was in the company.
I received a call on Friday from the owner telling me they have chosen me for a second interview. He said it may be a little tough since you are currently employeed but that he is willing to accomodate me and make it for Saturday. He said it would be a practical interview where the office manager would be showing me the computer system.
I’ve been on COUNTLESS interviews and second interviews but nothing like this so I’m kind of freaking out.
It all sounds good and it seems like they like me but this is going to be for a couple of hours so I don’t really know what exactly they are going to be doing with me. I’m scared I’m going to flub up and not get this.
What do you bees think about this? Does this mean she is just looking to see how trainable I am? One thing that they mentioned is that I need to know how to use office equipment and computer software. I have the skills needed but the office manager mentioned she had worked with people who didn’t know how to turn a computer off, she seemed to really like me and was on my side the whole interview so I wonder if this is to make sure I know what I’m talking about?
Sorry this is long, I’ve been dealing with anxiety over this for the whole week and I just want this Saturday to be here already. Any comments are super helpful. Thanks!
