I like those colors together. Though I’m having red and teal so I might hyst like things that other people think clash.

ETA: If you’re worried about it I would choose a more muted/darker purple, like plum, amethyst, or lapis. That way both of the colors aren’t so bright and competing with eachother.

It sounds okay to me. I think that’s a fairly popular combination of colors.

I’m doing regency as well, then my chillies turned to all different shades of purple. Then I wanted teal too. But because I didn’t plan the teal from the beginning I asides against it. But I definitely think regency and teal are nice together.

You said your colors are purple and turquoise , but then said the men are going to wear teal vests. Are you having both shades of blue?

Purple and teal definitely work together. To see examples go to http://www.theperfectpalette.com

The men could wear a purple and teal tie.
