Darling Husband and I are 33 and in our 9th cycle of TTC #1. I was on paragard and had been charting during that time, as well as when we have been TTC except for cycles 7 and 8- I was super frustrated and needed a break.
I usually ovulate day 15, sometimes day 14. LP is usually 12 days, occasionally 11 days. The shortest LP I have had is 11 days.
This month I was reluctant to resume temping, but Darling Husband pushed for it. We road tripped over Christmas (time zone 1 zone west of us) and slept in quite a bit. We have also had a cold spell this week, but if anything, I have been dressing more warmly. Yesterday on CD 8, my temp dipped and I got excited this was an implantation dip (I know that many people don’t have them even when they get pregnant but was still excited). Then today it was very low- I rechecked both temps the last 2 days. I didn’t sleep well the nights leading into CD 7 and 8, and on CD 8 woke up with a HA (possible early migraine). I have never had a drop this early/severe.
Darling Husband and I have no risk factors for infertility. My doctor ran some labs- all perfectly normal. She said she would be “totally shocked” if an HSG was abnormal and recommended waiting. DH has a normal sperm count. They didn’t check morphology (it was his regular doctor, not a urologist) but he has no health problems and his doctor said it is extremely unlikely there is a problem. My doctor blamed either bad luck or stress.
This was my first month using preseed, we had a vaction before ovulation that was fairly relaxing, I have gotten more sleep, and we timed it better, so I have been REALLY hopeful. Bees, what do you think?
