I’ve been stalking Accuweather and the weather keeps changing from day to day. Now it’s saying morning thunderstorm and a high of 92. My ceremony and reception are outside, though in the evening–it’s been such nice weather here that I don’t think my guests and I can take being outside in that temperature. We have a back up rain plan but–I like plan A better.

I am going to try to not look at the weather again–but I know I will end up stalking it just as much as I stalk Weddingbee.

Don’t stress! On my wedding date, I started weather-stalking early on, and it was anyway from 60-90% chance rain (which basically  means its going to rain!). As we got closer, the outlook changed a bit, and we ended up being rain free all day!

There is nothing you can do about the weather- try your best to be prepared (umbrellas, etc), and have a good backup plan. No matter how much you stress, you can’t change the weather. There are plenty of other things that are probably stressing you out, so don’t let the weather, which you have no control over, get to you!

I hope you get a sunny wedding day!!

I am also trying not to freak! Our wedding is the day before yours and so far the forecast is for gorgeous weather for the rehearsal and T-storms for the wedding. We are having an outdoor wedding as well. Yes, we have a back-up location and it’s nice and all. but I have my heart set on the outdoor ceremony. Let;’s keep our fingers crossed!

It was pouring, thunder and lightning at 2am on my wedding day. By 5pm, it was just fine!

So maybe it’ll just be a little drizzly early. =]
