PatLeigh :  I saw a pink diamond ring with a similar cut to yours with a beautiful white diamond pear on each side. The pears were set east west on a plain white gold tapered band. I can’t find the picture but it was glorious!

I would only do rose gold prongs around the diamond. A rose gold band will fight with it. I’d do white diamond side stones and a white gold/platinum band.

Oh my goodness don’t take away from that gorgeous stone with a halo!  It is so stunning, it needs no decoration!  Just that diamond sitting atop a band will be breathtaking.

If you do want to embellish it more (but seriously, why!?) – the idea of an east-west pear placed on either side is a good one.

Beautiful stone!  Do anything you like with it, but I would probably do some white diamond side stones to accent the beautiful color.  Wear it in good health!

Oh man I would DIE for that stone! So gorgeous!!! And the cut is amazing!

I like the idea of side stones- pear or emerald cut. Or just a thin solitaire. I’m biased toward rose gold because my own ring is a pink spinel with a rose gold setting- but even I think white gold would look great with that stone too! I think if you put side stones then the rose gold would be far enough away to compliment rather than compete. You could also do a pave setting in rose gold- the contrast with the white diamonds on the band might make it appear even more pink.

Here is mine just so you can see how a light pink color looks with rose gold:

PatLeigh :  OH EM GEE. I’m not a diamond girl, but that stone is TO DIE FOR. Definitely rose gold setting. Maybe a halo just for the contrast in color to make the pink really pop.

If you reallllyyyy want halo then I would go with something delicate and elegant like this

Ps here is some good side stone inspiration, the bottom is my favorite… but the more I think about it the more I feel plain solitaire or pave is the way to go.

PatLeigh :  That Stone is gorgeous! I think I would do a rose gold bezel setting for it.. No matter what you choose it’s going to be amazing. Can’t wait to see it!
